This is my collection of short stories I’ve posted to the NoSleep subreddit. Enjoy.

My name is Roach, and this is my confession. (Part 2)

I read about the woman the next day. She had her own little segment on the front page; a tiny corner in the top right, squeezed up against the border next to a sports headline. “Missing Woman Found Dead,” was captioned beneath a grainy black and white photo of the alley. Her name was Amanda Rhodes, a teacher at an elementary school. She was reported missing by her husband two months ago, after complaining that someone was following her to her car at night. The police couldn’t provide a time of death. I locked myself in my apartment the next…

My name is Roach, and this is my confession. (Part 1)

I’ve got a lot to say. I don’t know why the hell I’m deciding to do it now, but . . . I might not get another chance in the future, so here I am. Before I say anything, I need you all to know I’m not a bad person. I don’t think I am, anyway. I’ve been telling myself that a lot lately–guess I’m not so sure anymore. My Last Risky Click Ever

I’m on reddit a lot. I’m sure everyone here is, so you’ve all heard the term: a “risky click”. I know people use it like it’s a joke, but I’m really not laughing. Not tonight. I Know the Secret to Growing Perfect Peaches

When I was a kid, my mom would take me to see my grandparents every summer. They own a peach farm out in Georgia, and if you don’t know, summer-time is peak harvest season. Let’s just put it this way: I’ve never been able to eat the ones from the grocery store–they don’t even compare. I asked them what their secret was once. They said, “You just need to know who to ask for help,”…

Someone Sent Me A Warning

It started a few days ago. I was working a late shift at the office–end of quarter stuff, you know how that goes. I think it was around 8pm that I finally got up to take a break. I took a walk around the office to stretch out my legs and realized I was the only person left. Most of the lights had been turned off, and the only other sound was the faint rumble of air blowing through the vents overhead. When I got back to my desk I saw a note stuck to my computer screen. It was…
